Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I had a ton of school work due last week and was too relaxed to post during the break. And for the record, those are reasons, not excuses.
Anyway, I LOVED Thanksgiving break this year. I guess I missed home because I was so busy. It was incredibly nice to just relax and do nothing, plus catch up on sleep. I even got to bring my best friend home with me.
But today, it was back to the grind. There are just 2 weeks until finals, and I have 3 papers due before then. Plus, I was back to work today. I can't really say where I'm interning this semester, but suffice it to say...I'm there a lot. After a 9:55 class this morning I went straight to work and didn't get home until after 8. I love it, though, and I'll really miss it after this semester. Although, it'll be nice to have my life back.
Oh, and I stumbled across some interesting stories in the news today:
- Vice President Cheney was treated for an irregular heartbeat today.
- President Bush wants to solve the Middle East conflict.
- Senator Trent Lott (R-MI) will resign by the end of the year to become a lobbyist.
- President Bush held a 40-minute private meeting with Al Gore in the Oval Office.
- Redskins' star safety Sean Taylor was shot in his Florida home last night.
I'll be updating more regularly, so make sure to check back in.
Thanksgiving this year was really wonderful. I had a great time with you and your family.
In regards to the news, I think we're going to be in for an interesting GOP Senate Whip race to replace Lott... seems like there may been quite a bit of competition.

Thanksgiving was terrific:) Sometimes, I forget how fast life is going until I go home and I have time to chill out.
btw, the link to the Bush-Gore discussion is broken. That must've been an interesting convo though
