So it's about 3:30 a.m. right now. I was supposed to be up studying for a big final I have for my Law class on Thursday, but I had to finish an assignment for another course that was due tomorrow. It looks like I'll be cramming on the night before my Thursday exam. Oh, and did I mention that I have to be up at 6:30 a.m. for work tomorrow? It should be a fun day.
Of course, I shouldn't complain about my schedule since I set it up this way. I know it sounds a bit crazy, but I perform best with a full calendar. I'll admit, though, that this term has been a little...fuller...than usual, with my internship taking up a lot more time than I thought. This semester has taught me to appreciate the "chill" time in life since I've had so little recently. I plan to make my spring term more low-key.
Between AU and D.C., there are so many ways to fill your schedule with exciting things. Just make sure to know your limits so you don't get in over your head. I don't think I'm there yet, but I'm definitely treading the line this semester.
Anyway, now for some interesting news stories from today:
- Presidential candidate Mitt Romney (R) will give a JFK-esque speech about his faith on Thursday.
- A high school teacher was arrested for a pro-Columbine blog post.
- President Bush will visit Israel on January 9th.
- Two college students rob a bank, blaming high tuition costs.
I hope you're getting more sleep than I am.
